This collection is composed of scientific reports presented by scientists of the Kiev Medical Institute at philosophy seminars composed of professors and instructors.nThe collection is in two parts;(I) "Against Idealistic and metaphysical conceptions in "biology and. medicine", and (2) "Laws of relations in phenomena of interest to medicine".nReviewing the massive amounts of material gathered by modern biology on the problem of heredity and mutation, the author conclusively demonstrates the impossibility of the attempts of the adherents of for= mal genetics to apply their old idealistic and meta¬physical notions to the new discoveries of cytology bio¬chemistry, and microbiology.
