摘要

This Report contains a review of recent publications on certain aspects of the interaction of plasmas, especially at high densities, with electric, magnetic and fluid-dynamic fields. The discussions refer in particular to theoretical and experimental studies of electric arcs.nThe Report is subdivided into two parts:nPart A—dealing with the phenomenology and description of thermal arcs;nPart B—dealing with the phenomenology of - and existing models and analyses, as well as interpretations of the observational results, for - the inter¬action of arcs and magnetic fields.
