Pem Quartz Crystal Units, Filter Low Frequency, 1mc to 10mc Types Cr-(XM-49)/U Thru Cr-(XM-52)/U

The planoconvex design has been employed in fabricating crystal units for each of the 5 required sample frequencies: 1.75Mc, 5.0Mc, 6.0Mc, 7.5Mc and 10Mc. From 8 to 9 design variations were introduced at each of the 5 frequencies, representing a total of approximately 300 units. Averages for each design variation have been tabulated in terms of crystal parameter values C sub 1, R sub 0, R sub 1 and C sub 0; in addition, filter response curves have been recorded for all crystal units which were fabricated to completion although only 6 curves are included in the report. In a planoconvex versus flat-plate comparison, noncompatibility aspects are also included in the report.
