MOSAIC STRUCTURE OF METALLIC POLYCRYSTALS AND EXTINCTION EFFECTS

摘要

In radiations of molybdenum and copper there were studied the ex¬tinction effects in the case of large- and small-grained powders of tungsten. It was established that the extinction weakens in propor¬tion to the shortening of the length of the radiation wave. An explan¬ation of this phenomenon based on the proposition as to the optical character of the scattering of the X-rays by a mosaic crystal.
