MECHANISMS OF SMOOTH MUSCLE RELAXATION THROUGH THE ANODAL CURRENT STIMULATION

Further studies have been made on the mechanism of the smooth muscle relaxation through the anodal current stimulation. Major efforts have been concentrated in four items of research projects.nI The effect of on the action potential of the cat ureter were studied during exposure to Na -free solution as well as to Hinger-Krebs solution. In the absense of Na action potential was not moster demonstrated at normal Ca concentration. but when the external Ca concentration was increased above 5 mM it recovered tempolarily.
