摘要

As the result of a feasibility study on reducing the dimensions of out-of-line safety fuze explosive trains, a system 1/2 in. long and 1/4 in. in diameter with two-train redundancy is proposed, which from statistical extrapolation is calcu¬lated to meet the Navy standard of "less than one safety failure in a million" at a 95% confidence level.
