Mouthpiece Mounted Check Valves for Demand Type Diving Apparatus.

摘要

The evaluation was made to determine the most suitable mouthpiece mounted check valves available commercially,and if necessary,to develop modifications to commercial equipment to obtain an optimum set of valves embodying the advantages of the various models investigated. Breathing machine results upon the various components selected are summarized to tables of peak respiratory pressure against depth. A proposed standard mouthpiece is designed and presented with the recommendations that several be procured for further evaluation. (Modified author abstract)
