A Discussion of Hardware Implementation and Fabrication for an Automatic Target Cueing System

Westinghouse is concentrating on the hardware implementation and fabrication of the algorithms for the focal plane and treating them as a system. This quarter continues the emphasis on implementation and fabrication. The work this quarter on more intelligent operators (image segmentation, feature extraction, and classification) in CCD technology continues. A progress report on a histogrammer chip fabrication for a feasibility demonstration is included.
