This Standard Engineering Installation Package (SEIP) is prepared for projects which require overall standardization for implementation by communications-electronics commands in various parts of the world. It is used for guidance in preparing an Engineering Installation Package (EIP) for a specific site, tailored to its peculiar requirements. This SEIP provides guidance for selecting, acquiring, and installing key telephone systems equipment. This SEIP also contains site survey information, installation specifications and instructions, engineering drawings, bill of materials, and quality assurance and control information. Additionally, this SEIP provides a list of applicable documents for reference purposes. (Author)
