摘要

The Variable Encounter Method is described in detail together with theoretical modes for deconvolution of data. A relation is developed between mean first passage time and 'incubation' time. Application is made to the study of the transient region in vibrational accommodation of cyclopropane-d2 at high temperature surfaces. Collision efficiency declines with rise of temperature. Surface collisions are more efficient than binary gas phase encounters. (Author)
