Regional Food Distribution Characteristics and a Methodology for Redistribution in Accordance with Crisis Relocation

This research project involves the acquisition of data and development of a methodology for regional food support planning. The research attempts to resolve some of the existing difficulties (e.g., identification of existing distribution patterns, reallocation, transportation stress) in food distribution planning for crisis relocation by employing FEMA Region IV states as a prototype which is transferrable to the other FEMA regions.
