Determination of Calcium Cyanamide in Crude Calcium Cyanamide

摘要

A rapid method of analysis for the assay of crude calcium cyanamide is proposed for the monitoring of calcium cyanamide in the nitroguanidine continuous process line. The proposed method consists of (1) micomilling the crude material, (2) extracting the milled material with a sodium acetate/acetic acid buffer, and (3) determining the cyanamide by the Pinck precipitation/titration procedure.
