Adaptive equalization techniques, as well as suitable algorithms and computer programming procedures, have been developed to provide open loop control of the Microwave Transversal Equalizer. The resultant computer analysis will determine the necessary MTE control adjustments to minimize time sidelobe distortion. (Author)
