Part Derating Guidelines (Interim) for ESD Systems Development.

This document establishes part derating to be implemented on AFSC/ESD contract. These guidelines were prepared for ESD by RADC/RB and reflect the design derating criteria prepared for them under contract F30602-81-V-0073, as well as other RADC data. Established derating values for the majority of devices in MIL-HDBK-217, and a suggested approach for verification of derating parameters are included. Derating verification testing in Section 23 should be utilized to the extent agreed upon by the contractor and Air Force, unless otherwise specified in the contract.
