In January, 1982 the author visited the United States to attend and present a paper at the 12th Conference on Severe Local storms in San Antonio Texas. This report highlights certain aspects of that conference and details other discussions held both before and after the conference with the NOAA Environmental Research Laboratories, the FAA, the NASA Langley Research Center and the National Severe Storms Laboratory. This supplement contains appendices 4 to 16 of the report.
