A 0.5-scale crewman/ejection seat model was tested to determine the effects of Reynolds number variation on the aerodynamic forces acting on the crewman in and near the cockpit of an F-16 fighter during an emergency ejection from the aircraft. Two different cockpit configurations were investigated at freestream Mach numbers from 0.4 to 1.2 and dynamic pressures from 100 to 600 psf. The data were obtained at various F-16 forebody-ejection seat separation distances (0 to 24 in. model scale) for fuselage angles of attack and sideslip of zero....
