VAMOSC (Visibility and Management of Operating and Support Cost System) System Inputs: The USAF Command-Level Accounting and Budget Distribution System (ABDS), H069R

This study involved an assessment of the USAF Command-Level Accounting and Budget Distribution System (ABDS), Data System Designator (DSD) H069R. This system is a major source of operations and maintenance cost data for the AF Visibility and Management of Operating and Support Cost System. This study is part of a follow-on to Desmatics' validation and verification of the WSSC and C-E system cost allocation algorithms. The objective of this effort is to assess the appropriateness of the individual inputs to the AF VAMOSC subsystems, and at the same time determine whether VAMOSC is making appropriate use of this input data. Each of MAJCOMs provides VAMOSC with two tailored H069R extracts. One, the annual MAJCOM O&S Cost Extract, is used by the WSSC and C-E systems. It contains O&S cost data for the previous OBY. The other, the quarterly Supply and Maintenance Cost and Output File, contains year-to-date base maintenance and supply cost data for use by CSCS.
