Applications Requirements for Nonlinear-Optical Devices and the Status of Organic Materials

摘要

The materials requirements for nonlinear optical applications, including electrooptics, second harmonic generation, and all optical signal processing, are discussed. The status of organic materials is reviewed in light of these requirements, along with the needs for future research.
