A series of studies was performed in laboratory animals and in vitro biological systems to determine the relative toxicity of the candidate insect repellent, AI3-35766. The studies indicated that the subject compound exhibited a potential for skin irritation, eye irritation sensitization, and mutagenicity. It was recommended that no further laboratory studies be conducted on the candidate repellent AI3-35766. (aw)
