摘要

Treatment of 3,4-benzo-1,1-dimethyl-1-silacyclopentene with a catalytic amount of n-butylithium and hexamethylphosphoramide in tetrahydrofuran yields poly(3,4-benzo-1,1-dimethyl-1-1-silapentene). This polymer has the highest melting temperature, glass transition temperature and thermal stability of any poly(1-silapent-3-ene) yet prepared.
