摘要

The incorporation of low molecular weight additives significantly improves theconductivity of both PEO-based ZnBr2 and LiClO4 electrolytes from 0 to 100 deg C, particularly at room temperature and below. Apparently additives have two effects: (1) to increase the segmental mobility of the PEO chains in the amorphous conducting phase, and therefore, increase the mobility of charge carriers; and (2) to increase the degree of salt dissociation in the amorphous conducting phase and thus increase the number of charge carriers. The effectiveness of additives in improving conductivity is greatly influenced by the type of salts involved. Low molecular weight additives, Conductivity, Electrolytes, Segmental mobility, Amorphous conducting phase, Charge carriers, Salt dissociation.
