Previous theoretical and numerical studies have shown the conditions for existence and stability properties of intrinsic localized modes (often refered to as discrete breathers) which exist in the gaps outside the linear dispersion bands in anharmonic lattices, We apply a continuous wavelet transform to numerical simulations in order to verify some of the predicted frequency behaviour.
