摘要

The use of the continuous wavelet transform and the discrete wavelet transform in analyzing the propagation of optical pulses in nonlinear disper- sive fibers is discussed. The analysis is based on the split-step wavelet algorithm which reaches reasonable accuracy as compared to the well-known split-step Fourier method.
