Studies on screening of new germplasm of okra against sucking pests were undertaken at Central Experiment Station, Wakawali (Dr. B.S. Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli) during 1998-99. The results indicated that the germplasm Okra N-6, VRO-3 and VRO-4were least affected by whitefly. Against aphid and red cotton bug the germplasm VB-9101 was found least affected. The germplasm HIHC-068 was found least affected by jassids.
