Gene flow and endangered species translocations: a topic revisited

摘要

This paper reviews studies which show that gene flow can constrain local adaptation and affect the management of endangered species. A brief introduction on the theoretical basis for improving gene flow as a tool for management of endangered populations is presented and management strategies are suggested.
