Antalis plans to acquire Xerox's paper and print media products business in Western Europe. China plans to reduce total production capacity by over 4.5Mtpy. Plants slated to close include: wood pulp mills <51ktpy; pulp lines based on non-wood fibres <34ktpy; lines for recovered paper processing <10ktpy; newsprint mills <50ktpy; P&W mills with wires under 1.76m width; and boxboard plants of wire width under 2m and speed below 80m/min.
