Primary coating kaolins-pre-sold before start-up

Huber Engineered Materials has started up a process line which produces coating kaolins from primary crudes-rather than conventional secondary kaolins.The process produces products with:90 plus brightness a very platy shape which enhances optics and printability and reduces costs.Based at the Sandersville plant in Georgia,the new line is dedicated to the manufacture of kaolin which enhances the performance of paper coatings.It is used in a number of applications including light weight coated and matte coated papers.
