Clariant India's sales down marginally; but profit zooms in Q1 2014

CLARIANT Chemicals (India) Limited, one of India's leading specialty chemicals producers, recorded a nearly fourfold increase in profit for the quarter ended March 31,2014 over the previous quarter. The profit before tax and exceptional items stood at Rs 21.3 crores as against Rs 4.3 crores in the fourth quarter of 2013.
