The Scottish Parliament is seeking the views from people across the country on its Footway Parking and Double Parking (Scotland) Bill legislation. The Bill seeks to make it illegal to park on pavements and make these footways safer by stopping pedestrians - especially those with mobility or visual impairments, or with pushchairs - from being forced onto the road to avoid parked vehicles. The Bill also creates new offences of parking beside a dropped kerb and double parking.
