Report on the cooperative technical and scientific work

The following survey of the cooperative work of the Stahl-Zentrum summarises important projects of the Steel Institute VDEh and its subsidiaries in the year 2003. In addition to the activities of the committees of experts of the VDEh, the fields of work of the Institute for Applied Research (BFI), Research Association for Steel Application (FOSTA), Max-Planck-Institute for Iron and Steel Research (MPIE), the Publishing House Stahleisen GmbH and PSI BT AG are sketched. This report includes the short talk concentrating on the international activities and cooperative work given at the VDEh general meeting on 14 November 2003. Here, by far more examples from the various research areas highlight the immense work of the several departments.
