The firm Igor Lanik - Techservis Boskovice was founded in 1991 and in the year when it celebrates its tenth anniversary it has 70 employees. A subject of its activity is manufacture and sale of auxiliary materials for metallurgical industry, mainly for turn-one, metallurgical processing of light alloys and die forging. The turnover of the firm in 2000 was about 75 mil. Czech crowns A dominant activity is manufacture of foam ceramic filters used under the specification VUKOPOR in founding of all technical alloys and in primary and secondary manufacture of Al alloys. This production is complemented by manufacture of heat resistant ceramic shaped pieces used for refining in connection with ceramic filters. A long tradition in the firm has the manufacture of lubricating and separating agents for pressure die casting machines and die forging including application equipment. The firm achieves very good results in the field of special foundry paints for sand moulds, cores and metal moulds, mainly for polystyrene patterns for Lost Foam technology. It is a matter of course that the firm provides technological service to all its products. Quality is checked and controlled according to ISO 9002. All manufacturing technologies are strictly checked from the point of view of environmental protection. The proper products are assembled with products from ceramic fibres and products of the firm VESUVIUS represented by the firm Lanik in the field of Fe alloys founding. A great part of the production is exported almost all over the world, i.e. in countries of Central Europe, European Union and in Asian and South American countries. The firm cooperates with a number of world reputed firms, through the mediation of which it also finds its place on foreign markets.
