Tackling Grand Challenges of Energy Storage and Conversion Materials

Securing our energy future requires the development of novel materials and systems for energy harvesting and storage. This workshop brought together over 60 spectroscopists, materials scientists, device designers, theoreticians, and entrepreneurs to communicate with each other and discuss collaborations. Discussions focused on ex-situ and in-situ/operando techniques using X-rays and electrons, but presentations on practical challenges were also well-received.
