Abstracts of agricultural papers presented.

This paper contains 33 abstracts covering various topics on sugarcane, sugarcane biology and sugarcane production, including: the effects of sugarcane trash on ratoon crops; the use of cover crops in rotation with sugarcane; the use of herbicides for weed control in sugarcane; the effect of wireworm (Melanotus communis) on sugarcane emergence; molecular identification of virus isolates causing mosaic in sugarcane; development of microsatellite markers from sugarcane resistance-related genes; and the effect of temperature on flowering and seed set in sugarcane.
