The geodetic data which LINZ holds has been generated over many decades and for various purposes. To distinguish the marks which comply with current geodetic standards the following definitions are used. Geodetic mark - Any mark which has a geodetic code. Included are marks which do not necessarily comply with current geodetic standards. For example, NZGD1949 marks which do not have accurate NZGD2000 coordinates.
