摘要

Synthesis of linear polyurethanes is carried out mainly by the use of aliphatic diols.Efficient means of the increase of thermal properties of polymers is inculcation of aromatic groups in polymer chain. With this in view application of card type bisphenols seem perspective (1-3), but these compounds cannot be used for the synthesis of polyurethanes due to low thermal stability of urethane group formed on the base of phenol hydroxyl. Their decomposition temperature is significantly low than the decomposition temperature of urethane group formed on the base of alcohol hydroxyl. Such a difference between the hydroxyl groups is conditioned by the fact that in the bisphenol molecule, where the hydroxyl group is directly connected with aromatic nucleus a proton of hydroxyl group easily tears off, as a result of which it reveals acidic properties. Phenolate ion formed after loss of proton by participation of 7t-orbital of aromatic nucleus is stabilized due to delocalization of negative charge.
