Bone China Project of Shinepukur Ceramics with Technical Collaboration from Ceramic Info Center Schmidling GmbH

In a major expansion move Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd (SCL, Bangladesh), a fully export oriented subsidiary of BEXIMCO Group, has placed an order to Ceramic Info Center Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Konrad Schmidling GmbH (CIC Selb, Germany) for setting up an expansion unit for present Bone China production. In this Project CIC renders the services of machinery supply, erection, commissioning, personell training etc. for this bone china manufacturing plant, to be set up at the Beximco Industrial Park in Gazipur. The expansion project is expected to be completed by December 2009 with an estimated cost of USD 11,5 million which will entirely be financed by Bangladesh Export Import Co. Ltd. (BEXIMCO), the Parent Company of SCL. After completion of this expansion project, additional sales of USD 14,0 million is expected. The production line will have a capacity of 4,5 t/d.
