摘要

The semianaly tic finite element method with the use of approaches of continuum fracture mechanics was employed to assess the design life of the blade root of a gas turbine unit under thermo-mechanical loading. The results of computations, obtained with two- and three-dimensional problems, were compared. For design life assessment in creep, the nonuniform temperature distribution over the root cross-section should be taken into account.
