'Intelligent' High-Temperature Shuttle Kilns: High-temperature sintering systems for refractories with European know-how for the North American market

Refractories engineering is one of the few branches of European ceramics still on course for success. Following a slowdown a few years ago, the demand for high-quality refractories has risen strongly in the last two years. Refractories production has been expanded in Austria, Germany, the Eastern European states, and in Asia. In the last three years CERIC WIS-TRA has installed eleven high-temperature firing systems for the refractories industry. CERIC WISTRA has equipped selected facilities operated by the Austrian-based Rath AG, which is now one of the leading manufacturers of refractories, with new systems and modernized other existing plants from other suppliers.
