Stellenbosch University's Department of Food Science recently showcased its student potential at the bi-annual New Product Development presentations. PREPARING for the commercial world, while ensuring safe food, is a challenging task, but one with which students tackled with enthusiasm and ingenuity - often having to divert from their original idea or adapt products when challenges presented themselves.
