American Alliance for Innovation requests redraft of Safe Chemicals Act 2011

On the 25th July 2012, the US Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works approved legislation related to toxic chemicals reform (see SHE10573). Introduced by Senator Frank Lautenberg, the Committee passed Bill S. 847 (the Safe Chemicals Act of 2011; see SHE10275 and SHE9976), which reforms and modernises the US Environmental Protection Agency's Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
