Korean cosmetics firms suffer downturn in sales

Korea - Amorepacific, the biggest cosmetics company in South Korea, was the only leading cosmetics firm to post growth in sales and profits for the first half of the year. Domestic cosmetic companies, including LG Household and Health Care, Coreana and Hankook Cosmetics reported a downturn in sales due to solw domestic demand and a downturn in direct sales.
