The Symposium (ISEAC) is a cyclic event, organized every two years by the International Association of Environmental Analytical Chemistry (IAEAC). IAEAC is an international organization, the aims of which are: to maintain high academic standard of the symposia, to assure proper application of analytical methods for study of environmental pollution. In its activity IAEAC pays much attention to the influence of human beings on the environmental pollution, as well as to diminishing such pollution. It cooperates with institutions related to chemistry as well as with other related organizations. IAEAC actions allow the scientists to exchange their recent results, as well as training them in the most advanced scientific methods. The Association organizes symposia, workshops, and short courses for scientists studying the environment, with a specific regard to environmental analytical chemistry. These meetings are organized all around the world, which allows scientists from various countries to present their achievements in front of a broad audience getting familiar with the most recent trends. IAEAC is a non-profit organization; nevertheless, these symposia and conferences should be, as a rule, self-financed.
