Obituary-William H. Bennetts

William H. "Bill" Bennetts of Virginia, MN died July 19 at St Mary's Medical Center in Duluth at the age of 88. Mr. Bennetts was born Jan. 10, 1915 in Eveleth, MN to William John and Elizabeth Ann Bennetts. He was a graduate of Eveleth High School and the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He was employed by US Steel as a mining engineer for 30 years, retiring in 1971. He worked at the Pioneer and Soudan mines on the Vermilion range, the Duluth Engineering Department and at Minntac. He was a member of the Engineers' Club of Northern Minnesota and AIME.
