First English Seminar for Safety Assessors a Great Success

More than 80 safety assessors registered for the first English-speaking seminar for safety assessors in Warsaw on 30 September 2014. After three basic presentations from experienced Speakers on the legal background of the safety assessment in the EU and the qualifications of the safety assessor, data and Information sources and assessment of the dermal absorption of cosmetic ingredients all partieipants were discussing three practical exercises on the safety assessment of selected producta in groups of about ten persons. These exercises had been sent to them before the meeting so that they had the chance to look at the data relevant for the safety assessment and processing of the exercises before the meeting. Partieipants came from countries like Poland, Lithuania, Ire-land, Estonia, Spain, Belgium etc.
