The view by its founder of countercurrent chromatography history through the evolution of the coil planet centrifuge hydrodynamic chromatograph.Originally built for the separation of lymphocytes,the coil planet centrifuge took an unexpected course to become an efficient instrument that is currently widely used for separation and purification of natural and synthetic products.
