Novel, Bright, Inorganic Electroluminescent Flexible Displays Comprising Ink Jet Printed Silver Back Electrodes

Bright, flexible, paper substrate based electroluminescent displays have been realized using a combination of ink-jet and screen printing. The segmented back electrodes were obtained by ink jet printing inks containing nanometer sized silver particles under computer control, thereby facilitating the fast fabrication of a wide range of highly detailed displays.
