摘要

The method involves applying solvent-based ink on a surface of an object using a continuous-ink-jet method, where the ink comprises polymer and/or inorganic salt. A boundary face of the object exhibits energy of less or equal to 20 milli newton/meter. The object is exposed to airflow that is enriched with ions, before printing. Hidden marks (20) in the object are optically detected and the coordinates of the marks are determined such that printing is applied relative to a layer of the marks. Boundary face temperature of the object corresponds to ambient temperature. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an arrangement for application of print on an optical glass such as multi-focal glass (2) an optical glass such as a sliding sight glass with the print that exhibits ink.
