摘要

Particle swarm optimization is used to optimize hollow cylinder type force transducer with ultra low height. Heavy duty machinery and constructive engineering need low height force transducer to measure great force. It is necessary to design a special force transducer. Hollow cylinder type force transducer with ultra low height is designed and optimized especially in this paper. The ratio of the height of hollow cylinder-type force transducer to the diameter of hollow cylinder-type force transducer is limited to less than 7/4. Application of particle swarm optimization in design of the force transducer is powerful and acceptable.
