Attendance at the fourth Busan International Seafood & Fisheries Exposition (BISFE), staged from November 16-19 last year was the worst in the show's short history. Established in 2003 in response to South Korea's turn of the century shift from beinga self-sufficient seafood exporter to a net importer, BISFE began as a combination trade show and grand celebration of the seafood industry that dominates this city, inhabited by four million people.
