China stainless mills roll over April ferrochrome prices

Major Chinese stainless steelmakers Baosteel and Jiuquan Iron & Steel have rolled over domestic high carbon ferrochrome April purchase prices from February-March, industry sources said Monday. Both steelmakers settled at Yuan 6,450/mt ($1,039/mt), including delivery and 17% VAT, with Baosteel’s payment in cash and Jiuquan Steel’s in bank acceptance bill.
